About me

 about

My names is Antonio Zasa and I was born in Palermo in 1970.
I shared my life between the technical studies to become an engineer and my artistic interests to become a self-taught photographer.
I started to shoot photos as an assistant photographer at weddings at the age of 16 with a Yashica 35mm.
At the age of 30 he abandoned weddings photos to follow my artistic vein.
Some of my photos were published on the art magazine “Kaffé” and used as cover pictures for a book on urban design and for calendars.
A collaboration  started with the Italian RAI (Radio Televisione Italiana) channel’s production of sit com “Tutti Pazzi Per Amore 2″, providing photos to decorate some of the sit-com location

“You don’t make a photograph just with a camera. You bring to the act of photography all the pictures you have seen, the books you have read, the music you have heard, the people you have loved.”
